ITServe Synergy Code of Conduct
At ITServe Synergy, we are committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all participants. We expect all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and volunteers to adhere to the following code of conduct:
- Respectful Behavior: Treat all individuals with respect, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Harassment, discrimination, and offensive behavior will not be tolerated.
- Professional Conduct: Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during all conference activities, including sessions, workshops, networking events, and social gatherings.
- Inclusivity: Foster an inclusive atmosphere that values diverse perspectives and encourages open dialogue. Embrace and celebrate the diversity of our community.
- Collaboration and Networking: Engage in collaborative discussions, share knowledge, and build meaningful professional relationships while respecting others’ boundaries.
- Compliance with Policies and Laws: Abide by all applicable laws, regulations, and venue policies during the conference. Report any illegal or unethical activities to the conference organizers or appropriate authorities.
- Presentation Content: Deliver presentations, speeches, and discussions that are respectful, relevant, and free from offensive or discriminatory language or imagery.
- Anti-Harassment: Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or visual harassment, will not be tolerated. This includes unwelcome advances, inappropriate comments, or any behavior that creates an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
- Personal Safety: Take personal responsibility for your safety and the safety of others. Report any concerns or incidents to the conference organizers or designated staff members.
- Compliance and Cooperation: Comply with any reasonable request from conference staff or security personnel. Cooperate fully with investigations into alleged code of conduct violations.
- Consequences of Violations: Violations of this code of conduct may result in appropriate actions, including but not limited to warnings, expulsion from the conference without refund, or being barred from attending future ITServe Synergy events.
By participating in ITServe Synergy, you agree to uphold and abide by this code of conduct. We appreciate your commitment to creating a positive and inclusive environment for all attendees.
If you experience or witness any violations of this code of conduct, please report them promptly to the conference organizers or designated staff members.
